Podcast: The Snatchelor – Spin off podcast of the “Morning Toast” & I am here for it. It is only applicable if you are watching Bachelor in Paradise, but I have a strong feeling most of you are! I find this podcast hilarious and definitely a guilty pleasure listen. Like something you listen to while putting away the dishes or something to pass the time! Margo Oshry is hilarious and oddly so in tune with all the bachelor nation drama. I l feel like I am talking with all my girlfriends about the latest episodes of BIP, but ones who know way more about Bachelor drama than I do! Great for a long drive on the road & a good laugh.
Blog Post: TSC 5 Component’s of Emotional Intelligence – These days I find myself reading content on blogs about topics that truly interest me. Although I love seeing the fashion aspect of blogging, I always appreciate reading content where I will learn something new. Someone who creates education in a lot of her blogs is Lauryn Evarts, of The Skinny Confidential. I love her attitude of always wanting to learn and stay educated on topics that interest her and feed her curiosity. I particularly found this article interesting and something that everyone can learn from. Having emotional intelligence is something that I feel like I have leaned into in the last couple years. I think as you get older you find yourself in more difficult & trying seasons of life and I think her tips on how to create sustainable “EQ” are very helpful!
Marketing Article: Planoly’s Debunking Instagram Myths – I am a total nerd when it comes to learning about new marketing tactics, tips & tricks. Are you shocked I have a marketing degree!? Well with all the rumors going around about the instagram algorithm, shadow banning, and more, I enjoyed getting to the bottom of the truth about these topics and learning more about instagram engagement. This is a great read if you have a blog, enjoy learning about marketing or run an online business!
Favorite App: Tezza – I have been loving this app & am using it way more than I initially thought I would! The main reason I use it is for adding filters to videos, instagram photos & using her templates. This app is very user friendly & really takes your pictures & videos to the next level. Give it a try!
YouTube Video: Julia Haven’s Home Decor Shopping – I honestly just can’t get enough of Julia Haven’s videos and would really like to hire her to help decorate my condo! Her house was actually my initial inspiration for my home decor and I just can’t get enough. I live for her home decor hauls & she has such good tips about how to shop at Home Goods – aka fav home decor store EVER.
That’s all for this week! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
xoxo, Courtney
