Sharing a simple Valentine’s Day Donut Recipe that can really double as a recipe for anything under the sun! Let’s be honest, Valentine’s day is just a Hallmark Holiday & frankly I don’t really even celebrate it unless it’s with girlfriends! I would much rather get flowers or a gift on a random day then on a make shift holiday, anyone else!? Okay so to be honest the first time I tried this recipe I tried to replace the flour with almond flour to make it a little bit more healthy and it was a total FAIL. The dough didn’t rise enough, it was soggy, fell apart, you get the picture! So I tried it for a second time with normal flour and it was way better & actually resembled a donut! Once I finally figured out the proper way to go about this recipe it was so fun to get to decorate them! I opted for edible flowers & a light pink homemade icing – included in recipe. I found the edible flowers at my local Sprouts!
