Pantry organizing is the perfect in home activity for the dog days of Summer in Arizona. I have had this on my list since we moved into our new house but hadn’t quite got around to it as I was seeking purchasing other items such as home decor! But now that I have an organized pantry there is no going back. It really makes a difference to have a place for everything and of course I love how aesthetically pleasing it is. Such a nice surprise to open up a pantry to lined wire baskets neatly filled with pairings of their own. Who knew it could be so easy on the eye!? I am no expert when it comes to organizing but this really is a trial and error experience depending on what you have in your pantry. The Strategy I went with is to order a bunch of different sized baskets/bins in sets of 3-4 and then play around with what works for the items in your pantry! I also bought a couple clear containers to break up the many wire baskets and make it look a little more appealing!

Wire Baskets
I started off by ordering 2 different size baskets, but before you do so make sure to measure your shelves to double check when ordering basket so they’ll fit! I knew I wanted black wire baskets for more of a modern feel but you can do acrylic, woven baskets, white baskets, etc! Linked here.
Clear Canisters
Next I ordered some clear canisters with airtight tops (key for keeping items fresh & not going stale). These were a nice mix in to break up the lined wire baskets. For these I put in dates, oatmeal, shredded coconut & Liquid IV. Linked here.
Acrylic Spinners
I got this tip from The Home Edit to use essentially a small “lazy Susan” to organize all our condiments & supplements. They save a lot of space & are much easier to use than just lining them up perfectly, which usually results in knocking one over in the process, believe me I tried it! I am actually ordering more for our supplements because they are so useful! Linked here.
Can Holder
Another great organizational product is a stacked can holder. We had this before we started the pantry project and it is a great way to stack & organize your cans of beans, veggies, fruit etc! I keep this more hidden in the corner cause it isn’t as nice to look at as the perfectly lined baskets but it is very functional so I highly recommend. Linked here.
